About
Michelle was born and raised in Guernsey before moving to New Zealand as an adult, spending many years and raising a family there. Returning to Guernsey in 2003 Michelle realised a lot of the things she loved about the New Zealand lifestyle were available in Guernsey. She is very proud to call herself both a Donkey and a Kiwi.
Living close to the south coast Michelle spends a lot of time walking the cliff paths, with an array of wild flowers and the vast surrounding sea this makes for an ever changing landscape. Guernsey truly is a remarkable island, her favourite things on the island being the bluebells, the gorse, the country lanes, the town waterfront, Castle Cornet, La Vallette and of course, not to be forgotten, Cobo, you won’t see a better sunset anywhere in the world!
Michelle loves to swim in the sea and would like to be able to say she swims all year round although this is work in progress, she found January and February very challenging this year!
Spending time with family and friends is very special for Michelle and she is very lucky to have a wonderful family and very good friends in both Guernsey and New Zealand.
Michelle loves her role as a celebrant and finds great joy in the people she gets to meet and the variety of ceremonies she conducts, it really is true, find something you love to do and you will never work another day in your life.
Michelle is a registered family and funeral celebrant, who conducts bespoke civil ceremonies predominantly throughout the Bailiwick of Guernsey. These civil ceremonies include, weddings, vow renewals, namings, funerals, memorials and pet memorials.
Michelle is a registered celebrant with the United Kingdom Society of Celebrants (UKSOC)
