Weddings

Michelle writes and conducts beautiful alternatives to traditional wedding ceremonies. Using a celebrant gives you a lot of freedom, freedom of venue choice, the time of day the ceremony takes place and the format for the ceremony itself.

There are so many options that can be considered to ensure your desires for your special day can be created and fulfilled.

Your bespoke ceremony will be written to include all the elements you wish for and advice can also be provided to ensure the ceremony flows as you would hope.

Renewal of Vows

There are no legal requirements for the renewal of vows and many couples are now choosing to celebrate a milestone in their marriage by renewing their original marriage vows.

Private gardens or restaurant function rooms are often chosen as the venue for these ceremonies.

Michelle, will meet and discuss your vows and ideal ceremony beforehand to ensure she captures the essence of the passage of time for an acknowledgement of all you have achieved as a couple.

Namings

The naming ceremony for a child is a milestone in the parent’s and child's life.

It as an important welcome into the world and into family life by parents, grand parents, guide parents, family and friends.

Sometimes, parents don’t share the same faith or they simply wish a non-religious naming ceremony for their child.

Naming ceremonies can be conducted at a venue of personal choice.

Michelle will write the perfect ceremony to reflect the beliefs and wishes of parents and family.

Funerals

Funerals have traditionally been conducted by a Minister attached to a certain faith or by a humanist celebrant.  These ceremonies follow the beliefs of the Officiant conducting the ceremony.

Quite often the deceased and/or the bereaved may not be entirely comfortable with this as it may not fully match with their own beliefs.

A civil ceremony may be just what you are looking for.  It may contain no religious content at all, or contain some element of faith or spirituality.  In fact, it can contain whatever, you feel appropriate for yourself and loved ones.

Michelle will meet with you, discuss your wants and needs and write a ceremony that will meet those needs.

Memorials

A memorial ceremony takes place without a physical presence and usually after the deceased has been interred.

It is a celebration of the life and legacy of the deceased and is a positive, personalised event.

Michelle will ensure it reflects the personality of the deceased.  She will focus on the very best in that person’s life and on the moments of their greatest success, their loves and what made them happy.

The memorial ceremony will be personalised and life centred providing a suitable tribute to the life that was lived.

Pet Memorials

A family pet is an extremely important part of family life.

When a much loved pet passes away, they are sadly missed and the family grieve for their loss.

A memorial ceremony for your much loved pet is written solely with them and your memories of them in mind. The ceremony can be performed at the venue of your choice, the family home, a favourite park or a favourite beach.
